I really like to set an atmosphere when I’m designing a new garment, part of that is creating a playlist to listen to while sketching or sewing. (Me, too much? Never!) Some songs really remind me of the people in my life and the moments I have shared with them. Some remind me of the Hollywood films my Nanny would have been inspired by, my Grandad’s love of country and western music or even just setting the right mood for the sort of occasion in which a certain outfit would have been worn.
With every blog I write, I have also made a playlist on Spotify and thought I’d share them here. I am up for suggestions, so please let me know if you’ve got a tune to add!
